I recently discovered Joanna Newsom's work and I can't stop listening to her.

Peach Pear Plum makes me catch my breath.





Her hands are so beautiful and mesmerizing.

I made a note to myself about Jan von Holleben's work in my sketchbook a few months ago, and then I filled page after page, moving forward, moving on.

When I looked backwards I came across my note again.

Lately I've found myself in a period of nostalgia and loss and so it seems especially appropriate to stumble upon a body of work called "where we laughed".
