vintage japanese bookcovers

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with twitter, but one of the things that keeps the love going is when I find something beautiful and amazing. Yesterday I stumbled across  this photostream of vintage Japanese book covers which blew me away.

Here are a few of my favorites.

In addition to the book covers, there are magazine covers and quite a bit of other amazing ephemera in A Journey Round My Skull's photostream.

Thanks, Kate! I really appreciate your feedback and I'm so glad you're enjoying my blog : ) I first encountered Andy Goldsworthy's work when I was up in Syracuse - I always think fondly of snow and cold weather when I think of it.
