I've had this picture in my inspiration file for quite a while, and maybe it's seeing a wintry scene complete with snow when it's so hot and humid outside, but I'm really loving thinking about this piece this morning.

I discovered the work of Andy Goldsworthy when I was in college, and I've loved it ever since. How can I not love the work of someone who makes so many beautiful and structurally sound stacks?

Storm King Wall is installed at the Storm King Art Center, an amazing art park in New York state. Unfortunately, this piece wasn't installed when I visited years and years ago. I need to make sure to pay a visit the next time I'm up north!
